Kids want a life with meaning, purpose, and value. Education offers a plan and tools to help them succeed. Health lets them navigate their future. Hope and empowerment give them self-respect and belief in their ability to actively improve their life and their community. One Global Village seeks not only to provide tools and support, but more importantly to engage, encourage, and empower students and communities to strive for and attain their own brightest future.
Our founding philosophy includes deep collaboration with the communities we serve. Substantive issues can’t be resolved overnight, nor from the outside: they require communication, sensitivity to nuances of culture and custom, mutual respect and learning, and common goals. One Global Village celebrates the vibrancy and value of our varied cultures, and the joy and progress than can come with cooperation, knowledge-exchange, mutual learning, and working towards a shared purpose: Education, Health, and Hope.
