Hawa Clinic was active during the January mission week. We ran clinics in Dagabo, as we have for the last several years, providing STI treatments for the adults and Mebendazole and Praziquantel for the kids to address the most common parasites. We also were able to restock the Hawa Clinic cabinet with basic meds and wound care supplies, and provide menstrual health management kits for the older Siraba School girls.
Hawa Clinic is a place where villagers can get first aid and basic medications, consult with a doctor when our team visits Dagabo. Today those in need must go to the hospital in Ouéléssébougou – 15 kilometers (more than 1.5 hours) away.
